High school ski teams can use the Winter Recreation Area at Battle Creek for practices and meets. Special rates are available for high school ski teams. All team members must have a valid pass.
Parking
Ski teams at the Winter Recreation Area at Battle Creek may drop off at Battle Creek Recreation Center, but pick up must be at the Battle Creek Elementary parking lot or along Ruth Street. Buses may park at 2401 Upper Afton Road. Buses picking up the Battle Creek Recreation Center parking lot will be charged $100.
Practices
High school ski teams can practice from 3-6 p.m. at Battle Creek Winter Recreation Area and City of Saint Paul ski areas except on holidays and days when there are scheduled meets. Ski teams must purchase a rental permit to use Battle Creek Recreation Center.
Ski meets
High schools may hold meets at the Winter Recreation Area at Battle Creek. Ski meets do not have exclusive use of the trails and must share the trail with others. Spectators must not walk on the trails.
Fee: $320.
Cancelations unrelated to weather require a three-day notice for a 50% refund.
