Responding to climate change and increasing community resilience has been a county priority since July 2022.

Have you ever questioned if recycling is worth it? Short answer: Yes. Beyond saving energy and protecting natural resources, recycling also supports vital industries like paper making mills, glass bottle plants and factories that make steel beams. 

As climate change leads to periods of heavy and frequent rain as well as sudden snowmelt, Ramsey County will experience more flooding.

The new drop-off site, open 24 hours a day, year-round, will make it easier for residents to recycle food scraps.
