Voters can cast a ballot in person via absentee ballot in advance of Election Day or at their polling place on Election Day.

In-person absentee voting site

The Ramsey County Elections Office - Plato Building is open for in-person absentee voting Sept. 17-Nov. 1.

The site is open:

  • Sept. 17-Oct. 25: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
  • Oct. 26-29: 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
  • Oct. 30: 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
  • Nov. 1: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

This site is closed weekends except Saturday, Oct. 30.

Election Day

On Election Day, you must vote at your assigned polling place. Polling places will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day.

Ramsey County is committed to providing services while protecting the health of residents and staff. All absentee and Election Day polling places have public health measures in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19 including social distancing, complimentary mask and hand sanitizer.
