Keller Golf Course
Keller Golf Course and The First Tee Twin Cities will once again partner to bring a junior golf program to golfers ages 6–14 of all abilities. The three classes below are progressive so that your junior golfer can grow and improve. Birdie Basics is for the beginner golfer, Growing Golfers is for the more experienced golfer and Flying Eagles is for the more advanced golfer. Students will be grouped by age and skill level. Girls and boys are welcome, and clubs will be provided.
Two camp sessions will take place this summer, with one in June and a second option in July. All camps have a limit of 10 golfers each.
Keller Golf Course will be offering complimentary 9 holes of golf for our junior participants and one adult guest every Sunday evening after 5 p.m. within the dates the program is offered (5-week period).
Birdie Basics is the first of three progressive junior golf classes. This class will focus on swing fundamentals, short game, golf etiquette and safety with a strong emphasis on fun in a positive atmosphere. Introduce your golfer to this great game!

Growing Golfer is the second of three progressive golf classes. We will expand the ideas introduced during Birdie Basics and add a greater variety of skills and knowledge. Your golfer's knowledge and skills are advancing!

Flying Eagles is the third of three progressive classes. The experiences gained from the prior classes have created a full-fledged golfer. While continuing to hone skills, we add a greater emphasis on the variety of skills needed to take their game to the course. Your golfers are ready to hit the course and even compete!
Junior golf camps offered at Manitou Ridge Golf Course provide PGA-certified instruction on putting, short game skills, iron and driving play as well as golf etiquette and the rules of golf in a fun, relaxed atmosphere.

Week-long golf camps are offered in partnership with The First Tee Twin Cities at the Ponds at Battle Creek. Camps focus on formal golf instruction on the practice green, short game area and driving range. A strong emphasis is placed on rules and etiquette so that each camper learns all aspects of the game. Lunch is provided each day. If needed, fitted junior golf clubs are available at no additional charge to use for the week through our “Sticks for Kids” program.
