Parks & Recreation Reservation Policies

Thank you for your purchase with Ramsey County Parks & Recreation. Refund and cancelation information for facilities and programs are listed below.

In addition to these policies, all rules included in the parks ordinance (PDF) apply to all reservations and rentals.

Program refunds and cancelations
Programs fees are not refundable. If Ramsey County Parks & Recreation cancels a program a full refund will be issued. 

Tamarack Nature Center 

Day camp policies
All cancelations and transfers must be made at least two weeks before the start of camp. Registration fee will be refunded, minus a 20 percent fee. Transfers may be requested for $10. If Tamarack Nature Center must cancel a program, a full refund will be issued. View full day camp policies.

General policies

Privacy policy
Ramsey County respects the privacy of its users. Information gathered on this site and stored as part of the online application is intended to be used and accessed by our customers and Ramsey County or its contract developers support staff only. The data that is requested and stored to deliver the intended results to our users. Ramsey County will never sell the information stored in the online database to any outside entities.

Media policy
Ramsey County Parks & Recreation periodically takes photos and videos of program and event participants. Photos taken may appear in print, online or on social media. If you would like to request that you or your child not be photographed, please email parks@ramseycounty.us

Accessibility and accommodation
No person will be denied access to Ramsey County’s parks or facilities on the basis of race, color, age, disability or national origin. Ramsey County complies with Title II of the American Disabilities Act of 1990 and is committed to full application of the Act to the services, programs or activities of the County. If you attend any of the Ramsey County Parks and Recreation Department’s programs or activities and have a need for an auxiliary aide (language interpreter, large type or Braille materials) please contact us at least 10 days prior to the scheduled event so we can accommodate your needs.

Participant code of conduct
Ramsey County Parks & Recreation strives to create an atmosphere of respect and courtesy. Appropriate behavior and treatment of others is expected of all department employees, patrons and participants. Physical, mental, verbal, sexual or emotional abuse will not be tolerated by anyone visiting a facility or participating in an activity sponsored by the department.

Any person acting inappropriately or disrespectfully may be subject to a revocation of the privilege of using department facilities or participating in department activities or programs for a period of time (including a permanent ban) as determined by staff based on specific incident circumstances.
