A Mask for Everyone is an initiative to ensure that individuals and families - specifically racially, ethnically and culturally diverse communities - have access to:

  • A homemade mask to reduce transmission of COVID-19.
  • Accurate and up-to-date information about the importance of wearing a mask.
  • Instructions on proper use and care of homemade masks.

Together, we want to help protect our residents and keep our communities safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Request masks - households and families

Cloth masks are available in the following sizes:

  • Toddler (0-3 years).
  • Child small (4-7 years).
  • Child medium (8-10 years).
  • Youth/adult small (11+ years).
  • Youth/adult medium (16+ years).
  • Youth/adult large (18+ years).

You will also be mailed a package of surgical masks.

Submit a family and household mask request

Masks are available to Ramsey County residents only, and requests are limited to a maximum of eight masks per household. Masks will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Masks for businesses and groups

Masks are also available to businesses and community groups serving county residents.

Masks distributed

More than 135,000 masks have already been distributed through the A Mask for Everyone program including:

  • Nearly 16,000 masks to individuals, families and households.
  • 60,000 masks to community organizations.
  • 60,000 masks to businesses.
