Fill up on more veggies and fruits

WIC participants can receive $24-47 per family member for vegetables and fruits every month. Use the benefits to try new things, stock up on freezable favorites and make healthier snacks and meals.

In-person and phone appointments are now being scheduled. Call 651-266-1300 with questions or to schedule an appointment. Face masks are still required. We will provide you a mask if needed.

WIC services

WIC is a supplemental food, nutrition and breastfeeding program that helps eligible pregnant women, new mothers, babies and young children eat well, learn about nutrition and stay healthy.

  • WIC income guidelines allow many working families and students to qualify.
  • WIC food benefits are available to spend on fresh fruits and vegetables and other healthy foods at neighborhood grocery stores and many neighborhood farmers’ markets.

The caring, bilingual staff provides health assessments, nutrition education and counseling, breastfeeding support and referrals to health and other services in the community.

Powdered infant formula recall

An advisory was issued Feb. 18, 2020 by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and a voluntary recall issued by Abbott Laboratories for some of the Similac, Alimentum or EleCare powdered infant formulas. Learn more. If you are unable to find your regular WIC formula, you may temporarily use your WIC Card to buy a different brand. See temporarily approved formulas.
