Vaccines for infants, children and teens
Immunizations help prevent diseases at all ages. Making sure younger children are immunized is especially important. Children who are not immunized have a higher chance of getting dangerous and sometimes deadly diseases. If your child has fallen behind on their vaccinations, talk to your doctor or clinic to catch them up.
Immunization requirements
Requirements for Minnesota schools and child care
Life is busy and immunizations can be missed.Your child or teen may need to catch up before they can attend childcare, school or after school programs in Minnesota.
Travel immunizations
Planning travel to other countries? It is recommended that you get travel immunizations (vaccines) to protect yourself from diseases that may exist in other parts of the world.
Travel consultations can help you determine what immunizations you need. Schedule travel consultations at least 1-3 months prior to when you leave. Some immunizations take up to six months to complete the entire series. Ask your regular doctor or clinic if they offer travel consultations or visit a travel health clinic.
Saint Paul - Ramsey County Public Health Immunizations Clinic does not currently offer full travel consultations or certain travel-specific vaccines.
