A beekeeping class for the curious! Find out why there’s so much buzz about bees and determine if beekeeping is in your future. While not a comprehensive class for new beekeepers, this class will definitely get you headed in the right direction. We’ll discuss basic bee biology and ecology, beekeeping tools and equipment, associated costs and bee resources available in the Twin Cities. A honey tasting is included.
Sap to Syrup

Noon - 4 p.m.
All ages. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a registered adult.
Registration required. Start times: noon, 12:20, 12:40, 1, 1:20, 1:40, 2 or 2:20 p.m.
The start of spring brings the drip of maple sap. Join us as we celebrate the season by tapping maple trees, boiling sap and enjoying maple crafts and treats. The program includes a 45-minute guided tour, followed by self-guided exploration and additional activities.
