ARI Community Responder Solicitation

Contact us

Ramsey County is looking for organizations to partner with for Community Response. This will be a new option from the Appropriate Responses Initiative (ARI) available to all communities across Ramsey County. ARI seeks to transform the 9-1-1 Emergency Communication Center (ECC) dispatch processes, public wellness systems (Mental Health Crisis and Public Health) and community institutions to provide a wider range of options for responding to people in need. In some cases, we need a traditional response such as police, fire or emergency medical services. In other cases, a different response is needed to navigate longer term solutions to the current issue. Community Responders connect deeply with the community and receive training to address an assortment of needs for 9-1-1callers.

We are looking for vendors to provide services in one or more of the following areas:

  • Community Responder staffing.
  • Follow-up support after 911 calls.
  • Community Responder training.
