Very Small Quantity Generator Collection Program
Businesses that generate very small quantities of hazardous waste can participate in the Very Small Quantity Generator (VSQG) Collection Program. This allows eligible participants to regularly dispose of small quantities of waste rather than accumulate it over a long time period. Although program participants pay disposal charges, the program is intended to provide a convenient, cost-effective disposal option.
Bay West is contracted by Ramsey County to manage all hazardous waste collected through this program according to all applicable regulations. Participants in this program drop off their waste at Bay West. Hazardous waste is managed through state of Minnesota contracted vendors. Certain universal hazardous waste is recycled through other reputable vendors for recycling.
Please contact Ramsey County at 651-266-1199 for more information about management of wastes accepted through the VSQG program.
